Veterans, families of deployed service members, and surviving minor children are eligible to apply for the grant.

Military families get financial assistance by contacting one of the federally-funded Soldier and Family Readiness Centers at 14 locations around the state.

(SSAP) provides many types of assistance (mortgage, utilities, etc.). There are income and asset requirements with guidelines - depending on  circumstances.
